70cl / 700ml
Produced in Japan
Nikka have pulled out 'ALL' the stops on this one. Malts from Yoichi and Miyagikyou as one would expect but then Nikka have added malt form their Coffey stills as well which are traditionally used for grain whisky production.
Nose: Soft and inviting with fresh cereal, honey, toffee, cookies and apricot.
Palate: A mellow delivery with notes of pears in toffee, malty grain, spiced vanilla, flapjacks, milk chocolate and a touch of waxy orange.
Finish: Subtle spice, buttery toffee, honey, vanilla and mocha.
A very moreish level entry introduction to the delights of Japanese whisky and the ever so reliable Nikka range.
